Kagami Biraki 2005 was held at Shihan Monte's dojo in Brooklyn this year. It was great to see so many members of our Kenshikai Family.

Before training began, students visited with fellow karatekas.

Shihan Monte and Shihan Leighton led a vigorous kagami biraki workout, leaving students inspired for the new year.

Kyoshi Sookdar's student, Jun Oki, put together a beautiful video tribute to Shuseki Shihan William Oliver. He was very much missed by all, but was with us in spirit.
